Semaglutide (5mg) Dosage Protocol
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes (Ozempic) and chronic weight management (Wegovy). It mimics the incretin hormone GLP-1 to regulate appetite and blood sugar.
Add 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 2.5 mg/mL
0.25mg-2.4mg once weekly (dose escalation required)
At 2.5 mg/mL: 10 units = 0.25mg, 40 units = 1mg
Lyophilized: -20°C; Reconstituted: 2-8°C for up to 6 weeks
